How segments work
A segment is a saved filter that groups vendors by shared traits — lifecycle stage, health score, delivery volume, location, or any combination. Segments are dynamic: the member list is re-evaluated each time it is loaded, so it always reflects the current state of your vendor base.
Use with Campaigns
Attach a segment to a manual campaign to define exactly which vendors receive it. The campaign targets the members of the segment at the time it is launched.
Use with Triggers
Triggers evaluate conditions against all vendor profiles automatically. Segments give you a way to pre-define and name those audiences so they can be reused across multiple campaigns and triggers.
Use with Interventions
Filter the interventions queue by segment to focus the ops team on a specific cohort — e.g. at-risk vendors in a particular city or revenue band.
Segments are defined by a set of conditions (e.g. lifecycleStage = at_risk AND deliveries30d < 2). Members are resolved at query time — not stored — so the list stays accurate without manual updates.
